Wine For Your Face - Beauty Review

Happy Saturday, Beautiful Peeps!

I need to be better about dishing on my skincare because I'm often asked about it and I love trying new beauty treatments. Here's my latest...I have been using these "wine" soaked gauze pads for a little over a month now and I'm thrilled with how they thoroughly clean my skin and minimize my pores in a way I never really expected. They smell like grape jelly, so be prepared, but the scent was not overwhelming and didn't really bother me. I usually wash my face with micellar water, prior to using one. I also use them about 2-3x a week and results have been relatively drastic. Y'all know I love a little pampering and this seems like a rich way to treat my sensitive skin to an exquisite exfoliation treatment that is not harsh in any way. My skin also tends to hyperpigment when I have a pimple, and then, I'm left with a mark for what seems like ages. Thankfully, I don't breakout often, but I believe using this treatment in combination with a Vitamin C serum has basically eliminated any dark spots and given me a nice youthful glow. One of the main ingredients is Resveratrol, found in red wine, of course. It's a powerful anti-oxident that reduces oxidative stress to your cells so you don't minimize fine lines and wrinkles and slow down your skin's natural aging process.

I rub my face in a circular motion with the smoothest side first and follow-up by using the rougher side. After, I rinse with lukewarm water, I proceed with the rest of my regimen. My skin soaks my toner, serum and moisturizer, right up, after this treatment. Although, I clean my skin prior to using these, I still notice additional dirt coming off on the pad, which means these pads offer a deep cleaning to your pores.  Perfect for keeping breakouts at bay and helping your post-cleaning treatments to penetrate more deeply.
